Low autonomy, acceptable output quality. AI helps people, but the workflow still runs manually. Value is individual, not operational.
Trusted Workflow Autonomy
Higher autonomy with consistently acceptable output quality. AI reliably owns the workflow. This is where operational value and capacity release come from.
AI Theatre
AI activity is visible, but meaningful workflow ownership or business value remains limited. High usage, low change.
Risk at Scale
Autonomy is increasing without sufficient quality, control or reliability. Left uncorrected, this becomes operational risk.
